The blockchain landscape is not dissimilar to the internet of the 90’s in that it is problematic to run on different platforms or implement using different programming languages.
Just as the internet is a series of smaller physical networks, connected to a larger network through common protocols, connecting diverse blockchain networks together will create a global, scalable, and evolving blockchain layer of the internet.
Cross chain and enterprise system Interoperability would ease the process of moving assets from one platform to another, making information accessible across multiple blockchains – creating an internet of blockchain.
An internet of blockchain would allow users to transfer value across blockchains to take advantage of specific applications and would undoubtedly accelerate expansion of the Internet of Things and help leverage each network’s strengths to create bigger value
